- Explore the Karajía sarcophagi and the Quiocta caverns in the Amazon region. The tour offers to learn about the history and importance of the Chachapoyas culture (800 A.D. – 1570 A.D.), in the northern jungle of Peru. This is the experience
- Departure from the city of Chachapoyas at 8:30 in the morning towards the city of Lámud. We head to the parking lot of the Quiocta cavern, a five-minute walk to begin our visit to the Quiocta cavern of approximately one and a half hours. then return to the city of Lamud for lunch. After lunch we will continue our trip by vehicle for approximately one hour to the community of Cruz Pata. We begin our 40-minute walk down, visit the group of Sarcophagi then return to our vehicle. We will drop you off at your hotel around 6 pm and the end of the tour.

- The tour begins with the pick-up of the visitor from the door of their hotel in the city of Chachapoyas (pick-up is at 8:30 in the morning).
- Then, aboard a modern tourist transport, we will travel for 1 hour to the city of Lamud, capital of the province of Luya in Amazonas.
- In Lamud we begin a ten-minute walk until we arrive at the Quiocta caverns. This cavern has a depth of 545 meters and is considered among the five best caverns in Peru.
- In Quiocta we will appreciate bone remains from the Chachapoyas culture. With case protectors, we will enter the darkness to appreciate its stream, rock paintings, cemetery and geological forms.
- After leaving the cave we will take the short route back to the city of Lamud where we will enjoy a tourist lunch with local ingredients.
- After lunch we will board the tourist transportation for a one-hour trip to the community of Cruzpata. In this community we will get ready to make the walk to the Karajia sarcophagi.
- The walk is 40 minutes downhill through sections surrounded by beautiful landscapes typical of the high jungle of the Amazon region. From the best viewpoint we can appreciate the famous sarcophagi, whose construction is 2.5 meters high with human shapes.
