  • Visit some of the most beautiful landscapes of Arequipa. The Pillones waterfall tour offers incredible views of rock formations eroded by water thousands of years ago. It also allows you to visit other amazing tourist attractions such as: the Cañahuas pampa and the Imata Stone Forest. The tour includes pick up from the hotel, full tourist transportation, professional tour guide, entrance fees, breakfast, and first aid kit. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours: from 6 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon.

This is the experience

  • The tour begins with the tourist’s pick-up from the door of their hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 – 6:30 am. The first destination to visit will be the Pampa Cañahuas, a protected reserve where vicuñas can be observed. Then we will travel to the town of Patahuasi where it is time to enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we travel to the Imata Stone Forest. The last tourist destination to visit will be the Pillones Waterfall where we will get incredible photos. Before returning to Arequipa we have lunch in Patahuasi. The tour ends at 4.30 pm in the ‘White City’.

Itinerary

  • The tour begins with the tourist’s pick-up at the door of their hotel in the city of Arequipa between 6 am and 6.30 am. The pick up is in the Historic Center of the city of Arequipa.
  • Aboard our comfortable tourist transport we will travel through Andean landscapes. On the trip we will make a stop in the Pampa de Cañahuas. There we will observe vicuñas, beautiful Andean camelids that have one of the finest fur in the world.
  • After taking beautiful photos we will continue the trip to the town of Patahuasi. There we will enjoy a continental breakfast that includes breads, coffee, yogurt, jam, cereals, fruits and more.
  • After visiting Patahuasi we will continue the trip until we arrive at the first tourist destination: the Imata Stone Forest. There we will hike for 1 hour 30 minutes until we reach a peak from where we will observe geological formations created by erosion thousands of years ago.
  • The next tourist destination will be the Pillones waterfall, a magical place where you can also see rock formations made by the passage of water thousands of years ago.
  • On the way back to Arequipa we will make a new stop in the town of Patahuasi. There we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included in the tour). After lunch we will travel again towards the city of Arequipa.
  • The tour ends at 4.30 pm with the final transfer to the tourist’s hotel in the ‘White City’.
