The adventure begins on a journey of almost 3 hours (103 kilometers) from the city of Cajamarca to the Condebamba Valley, an area of beautiful Andean landscapes. There you will visit Andean towns such as San Marcos, Aguas Calientes, Malcas and more. In each of these towns, you will visit tourist attractions such as: the forest of stones the sapitos, the botanical garden of San Marcos, the house of the singer Ima Sumac, the slope of the Inca (small hiking route), Aguas Calientes, the great ficus of Malcas and more. The service is private. Lunch will be in a tourist restaurant in Condebamba (not included) and concludes with the transfer of the tourist to his hotel in the city of Cajamarca at approximately 7 pm.

Itinerary

The tour starts with the pick up of the visitor from the door of his hotel in the center of the city of Cajamarca (where most tourist hotels are located). The pick-up is at 6:00 am approximately.
On board a modern tourist transport the private group will travel for almost 3 hours to the Condebamba Valley, which is located in three Cajamarca provinces: San Marcos, Cajamarca and Cajabamba. It stands out for its beautiful landscapes where different agricultural products are harvested such as avocado, potatoes, garlic, beans and more.
One of the first tourist destinations we will visit is the Sulluscocha Lagoon (2,900 meters above sea level). There we will appreciate the algae and cattails that give a gray-green landscape to its waters. In addition, the visitor will be able to visit different birds, such as: ducks, chinas and more. It is a very beautiful landscape in Cajamarca.
Then, a very short trip is made to the stone forest ‘Los sapitos’. There the visitor will appreciate rock formations of thousands of years ago product of erosion. The figures of toads stand out, ideal for beautiful photographs.
On board of a tourist transport we will continue with the visit to the botanical garden of San Marcos, where the visitor will appreciate the different species of Andean flora and trees. The visitor will have a space to get the best pictures always well informed by his private tour guide.

Again on board of a tourist transport we restart the trip to the town of Ichocan in the province of San Marcos. This town is famous for its dance ‘the devils of Ichocan’, also for being the land of the soprano singer Yma Sumac, famous all over the world. There you will visit her home, protected by the village authorities.
Next, you will travel to the town of Aguas Calientes and the town center of Malcas. There you will visit the famous giant ficus, with a height of up to 44 meters. This gigantic tree is recognized as the “heritage tree of Condebamba” (it has more than 150 years of longevity). Tourists will be able to take pictures and learn about its history with a private professional guide.
On the way back we can get panoramic pictures of the Condebamba Valley. Finally, the tourist transport will take us to the door of the hotel in the city of Cajamarca. The tour concludes at 7:00 p.m. on average.
