Description

Cajamarca is one of the departments of Peru with more affluence of tourists. There are several destinations and the destination that surprises most of them is Cumbe Mayo. This place has a lot of history because it has a forest of stones and several water channels. These last constructions belonged to the Cajamarca culture more than a thousand years before Christ. Besides that you can appreciate beautiful landscapes typical of the heights of Cajamarca.

This half day tour starts with the pick up of the tourists from the hotel door. This activity will begin minutes before 9:30 a.m. of the day. Once the group is ready, the trip to the north of Cajamarca begins and in just 40 minutes we will arrive at the foothills of the Cumbe Mayo mountain. There, a short hike begins and the tour to appreciate all the attractions of this archaeological site that opens its doors to thousands of tourists. Also, both during the trip there and back, we can make some stops at natural viewpoints to better appreciate the geography and landscapes surrounding the site. Itinerary
