Kunturwasi means ‘house of the condor’ in Quechua. Its origins date back to 950 BC, when the local inhabitants built a ceremonial center based on lime. It was later included by various cultures such as Chavin and Cupisnique. This is evidenced by its buildings and temples with ceramics and gold work with figures of felines.
During the tour of Kunturwasi, the visitor will be able to visit La Copa hill, on the top of which are located the main temples and monoliths with figures in low relief of animals such as the jaguar.
Throughout the tour we will be accompanied by our professional tour guide. The tourist will be able to walk around and take pictures in its platforms, its quadrangular rooms, the main square, funerary structures and more.
