Description

  • The Porcon Farm is located only 30 minutes away by minivan from the center of Cajamarca. This place has more than 10 250 hectares of forest where you can find different activities and places to visit. All in direct contact with nature and enjoying beautiful landscapes. It is also possible to visit some handicraft centers in wood, fabrics and even stone. The programmed visit takes at least 4 hours and we offer all the comforts for the trip. In addition, we will have the presence of a guide so that the activities are carried out without any problem. Of course, it is important to mention that all the activity is extremely safe.

  • For the safety of our clients, we will pick you up from the door of your hotel. In this sense, we will pick you up minutes before the starting time. For this, our guide will contact you. Once we have the whole group inside the minivan, we will start the trip. Leaving from the Historic Center of Cajamarca, it will take only 30 minutes in the minivans. Before arriving at the Porcon Farm, we will be able to make stops at some of the nearby workshops. After that, the tour of all its attractions begins. This is an exclusive tour for the whole family. Itinerary

  • This is a morning tour. We will start before 9:30 am in the morning.
  • Our transportation and guide will be there to help you coordinate the pick up from the door of your hotel.
  • Once the trip begins, during the route we visit the stone, granite and marble workshops in the artisan centers of Huambocancha and Los Picapedreros.
  • You can also visit the weaving workshops.
  • Another special workshop is the one dedicated to woodworking.
  • In most of these workshops, you can observe part of the work and elaboration process of the products on display.
  • If you wish to purchase any of the products you can buy them directly from the creator.
  • After these activities, it is time to ascend to the Mirador de las vicuñas. This is accompanied by beautiful views of the place.
  • After that, it’s time to take a tour of the emblematic Minizoológico.
  • It is possible to meet the famous rescued fox Run Run, a condor and even a lion.
  • Finally you will be able to buy some of the dairy products that are sold in the place.
  • To conclude the tour we will board the minivan and return to the center of the city of Cajamarca.
  • This tour will conclude approximately before 14:00 hours.
