This is the experience
- The tour begins with the pick up of the tourist from the Jorge Chávez airport in Lima – Peru. Then the visitor will be transferred to his hotel in Lima. That day he will take the City Tour through the ‘City of Kings’. On day 2, after a flight to Cusco, transfer to your hotel. That day in the afternoon the City Tour Cusco takes place. On day 3 the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (with buffet included) is carried out and the night is spent in Machupicchu town. On the 4th the visit to Machu Picchu and the return to Cusco take place. On the 5th the ‘Sun Route’ takes place from Cusco to Puno with tourist visits and buffet lunch on the route. At night we rest in the city of Puno. On the 6th there is a tour of the islands of Uros and Amantani in Lake Titicaca. On the 7th the transfer and farewell is made from the Juliaca airport (Puno).

Itinerary
Day 1: Reception at the airport and Lima City Tour
- Previous coordination, an assistant will wait at the Jorge Chávez airport to transfer you to your hotel in the city of Lima.
- The tourist transport will take you to the door of your hotel where you can sort your bags and have lunch (not included) in one of the tourist restaurants.
- In the afternoon, between 2:20 pm and 2:40 pm, we will pick you up from the door of your hotel (or in a central square) to make the City Tour Lima. This service includes a visit to the Huaca Pucllana (pre-Inca archaeological site) and the historical monuments of the city such as the Main Square, San Martín Square, Government Palace, Lima Cathedral as well as the Reserve Bank and Catacombs.
- The tour concludes at around 7:30 pm. We will take you back to a central point of the city where you can have dinner (not included in the tour) or walk freely through the ‘City of Kings’.
- At night you will rest in a recommended tourist hotel in the city (which you will choose based on our available hotels).
Day 2: Flight and City Tour Cusco
- The second day begins with breakfast at the tourist hotel. Then the transfer is carried out from the hotel in Lima to the Jorge Chávez airport to take the flight to the city of Cusco (not included).
- After approximately 1 hour of travel, you will arrive at the city of Cusco located at 3,399 masl. An assistant will wait at the airport to transfer you in tourist service to the chosen hotel.
- At the hotel you will have time to pack your suitcase and have lunch (not included in the tour) in the many tourist restaurants in the city. In the afternoon, between 1 pm or 1.30 pm, the City Tour Cusco takes place where you will visit: the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, Tambomachay and the Coricancha temple.
- The tour ends at the door of your hotel (or in a central square of the city) at approximately 7 pm. Then, you will have time to walk around the city or have dinner (not included in the tour).
- At night you will rest at your recommended tourist hotel.
Day 3: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas
- The second day you can have breakfast in the dining room of the tourist hotel. Then, at around 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel for the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
- The tourist transport will take us first to the Taray viewpoint, where panoramic photos of the Sacred Valley of the Incas are obtained. Then we will continue with the visit to the archaeological site of Pisac, famous for its immense platforms, stone enclosures and even Inca tombs.
- After visiting Pisac we will travel by tourist transport to the town of Urubamba where we will stop for a delicious buffet lunch in one of the best restaurants in Cusco: Tunupa . Includes: soups, salads, desserts, hot drinks, fruits and the best of Peruvian cuisine.
- The next tourist destination to visit is the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo with impressive buildings such as the Temple of the Sun, the Enclosure of the 10 Niches, the Baños de la Ñusta and more.
- At approximately 3.45 pm the tourist transport will take us to the Ollantaytambo station, located in the same town. There, at 4.36 pm, we will board the Inca Rail tourist train The Voyager that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes at around 6 pm.
- An assistant will wait for us at the train station to lead us a few steps to the town’s tourist hotel. There we will have time to have dinner (not included) and get to know the town better.
- In Aguas Calientes we will spend the night at the tourist hotel in Machupicchu town.
Day 4: Visit to Machu Picchu, wonder of the world
- On the fourth day we will have breakfast at the tourist hotel in Machupicchu town.
- Then, at around 6:30 am, we will walk to the town’s bus station to board the tourist transport that, in just 30 minutes, will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu.
- At the gate of Machu Picchu, always together with our tour guide, we will make a complete tour of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. We will get to know its most famous buildings such as: the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Sacred Rock and more.
- At the time of departure we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes by tourist bus (30-minute trip) . Optionally, for an additional payment, we can enjoy a buffet lunch next to Machu Picchu (at the 5-star Sanctuary Lodge hotel).
- In Aguas Calientes we will have free time to have lunch (not included in the tour) and do last-minute shopping in town. At around 4 pm we must be at the train station to board the ‘Expedition’ service that will take us to the city of Cusco (train service with tourist bus). At the Wanchaq station in Cusco, a tourist transport will take us to our hotel where we will spend the night.
Day 5: Route of the sun from Cusco to Puno
- On the fifth day we will have breakfast at the tourist hotel in the city of Cusco. Then a tourist transport will take us to the transport station to take the ‘Sun Route’ tour that connects Cusco with Puno.
- The tour is an interprovincial trip with tourist stops at different attractions such as: the church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas (known as the Sistine Chapel of America). Then we will visit the archaeological site of Raqchi, famous for its Inca constructions with a lot of history.
- In the city of Sicuani we will stop to enjoy a buffet lunch at La Pascana restaurant.
- After the delicious lunch we will continue with the trip appreciating Andean landscapes such as the ‘Paso de la Raya’, which divides the region of Cusco and Puno. We will also appreciate the lithic museum of Pucara.
- The trip ends in the city of Puno at around 6 pm. An assistant will take us by tourist transport to our recommended hotel.
- That night we will rest in a tourist hotel in the city of Puno, at about 3,827 masl.
Day 6: Uros and Amantaní Tour on Lake Titicaca
- The sixth day begins with breakfast at the tourist hotel in Puno. Then, at around 7:30 am, we will pick you up to transfer you to the port of the famous Lake Titicaca (the highest in the world).
- On board a modern boat we will navigate the lake always in the company of a professional tour guide. The first destination will be the island of the Uros, an Aymara community famous for its customs and traditions.
- The next destination will be the island of Amantani where we will learn more about their customs and daily life. There we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch made by the local people.
- After this we will return by boat to the city of Puno at around 6 pm. At night we can have dinner (not included in the tour) or walk through the streets of the city.
- We will spend the night in the tourist hotel in the city of Puno.
Day 7: Transfer to Juliaca airport and farewell
- On the seventh and last day of the tour we can have breakfast at the tourist hotel in Puno. Then, at the previously agreed time, a tourist transport will take us to the Juliaca airport.
- At the Juliaca airport you take the flight back to the city of Lima (not included in the tour). There is the farewell and end of the tour ‘Cordillera Infinita 7 days and 6 nights’.

How to prevent altitude sickness?
- Altitude sickness (also called ‘soroche’) can cause you certain discomforts during your trip, for example: dizziness, fatigue and nausea. In order not to exacerbate the symptoms, it is recommended to avoid alcoholic beverages and fatty foods.
- Likewise, to reduce symptoms, try to acclimatize well to the altitude of the city of Cusco (3,399 masl). It is best to drink infusions such as coca leaves.

When is the best time to take the tour?
