Description

Visit one of the most relaxing places in the Huanuco region in the high jungle of Peru. The tour ‘Laguna de los Milagros’ begins with the trip from the city of Huanuco to the Laguna de los Milagros in the region of Tingo Maria. At the lagoon the visitor will enjoy a relaxing landscape where you can navigate through its waters surrounded by beautiful vegetation, which are habitat of birds and wild animals. Itinerario

The Laguna de los Milagros Tour in Huanuco 1 day begins with the pick up of the visitor from the Plaza de Armas in the city of Huanuco. The pick up is at 6 in the morning so it is recommended to be ready a few minutes before.
Aboard a spacious and safe tourist minivan, we will take a road trip to the jungle region of Huanuco, the city of Tingo Maria (located 120 kilometers or 3 hours by road).
During the route in tourist transport the visitor will appreciate how the landscape becomes greener and warmer. In the Carpish tunnel the tourist will enjoy a 400 meter long route through the mountain range. The tunnel passes from the Andean region to the high tropical rainforest in central Peru. The visitor will be able to take pictures of this incredible landscape in the Andes Mountains.
In addition, in the district of Chinchao we will cross the river of the same name, with beautiful views of the Huanuco jungle. The tourist will be able to make a stop to get the best pictures of the place.
Finally, after a trip of a little more than 3 hours, we will arrive at the lake of Los Milagros, in the district of the same name. There the tourist will be able to walk through its areas full of vegetation and the singing of birds. The most striking feature is its immense lagoon.
The lake of the Miracles is formed naturally by the filtrations of water from the Belen hill at the top. It has an area of up to 40 thousand square meters, its greatest depth is eight meters and has a beautiful view of the high Peruvian Amazon.
In the Laguna de los Milagros the visitor can take boat rides, walks around the thick vegetation with the opportunity to observe beautiful species of birds such as the cock of the rock.
Optionally, you can practice adventure sports such as zip-lining, always under the supervision of your tour guide and a team of professionals.
At midday, the tourist lunch is made with Amazonian ingredients such as fruits, vegetables and others.
After lunch there is a short trip to the ‘Animal Paradise’ serpentarium.
