- The ‘Sun Route’ tour can be done on either of the two routes: from Cusco to Puno or from Puno to Cusco. In both cases the pick up takes place between 6.20 am and 6.30 am from the door of your hotel. The trip lasts approximately 10 hours (387 kilometers by road). On the way, tourist attractions are visited such as: the church of Andahuaylillas, the Inca site of Raqchi, the La Raya pass and the lithic museum of Pucara. There is also a stop on the route to enjoy a buffet lunch. The arrival in Puno or Cusco is at 5 in the afternoon. The tour includes a comfortable and spacious tourist bus, as well as a tour guide, buffet and entrance to all tourist attractions.

Itinerary Tour ‘Sun Route’ from Cusco to Puno:
- The ‘Sun Route’ tour begins with the tourist’s pick-up from their hotel between 6:20 and 6:30 in the morning. Then we will take you to the bus station in the city of Cusco.
- At around 6:40 in the morning we will check in to board the comfortable and spacious tourist bus. At 7 in the morning we leave for Puno.
- After a little more than 1 hour of travel we will make a stop in the town of Andahuaylillas to visit its colonial church, named as the Sistine Chapel of America (due to the beauty of its canvases, murals and other colonial decoration).
- After visiting Andahuaylillas we will continue the route for almost 2 hours until we arrive at the Inca archaeological site of Raqchi, famous for the temple in honor of the god Wiracocha (the highest made in the Incas, who was the supreme Inca deity. There we will also find the largest number of colcas (stores) and magnificent buildings made of adobe and stone.
- After 2 more hours of travel we will arrive at the city of Sicuani where we will visit the tourist restaurant La Pascana (buffet lunch included in the tour). The buffet consists of a wide variety of dishes such as: hot soups, fresh vegetables, garnishes, pasta, vegetables, fruits, the richest desserts, hot drinks (coca tea, coffee or tea) and more.
- After the delicious lunch we will continue the trip by tourist bus ascending to the La Raya pass, located at 4,335 meters above sea level. La Raya is the border between the cities of Cusco and Puno. From there you have beautiful landscape views of the snow-capped Chimboya (from where the Amazon River is born). There tourists will be able to get beautiful pictures.
- Once in the Puno region, tourists can visit the Pucara lithic museum, in the town of the same name. Pucara is a culture that developed between 1600 BC and 400 AD. - Then we will continue the final part of the route until we arrive in the city of Puno at approximately 5 in the afternoon (end of the tour).
